1. List photo-editing software:

• Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 - support is offered at Adobe.com. While this is an older version of Photoshop it still suits my purposes. 
• Picasa by Google- A lot of times I just need to do very basic things like lightening a picture, clearing up a blemish, or softening a wrinkle. Picasa can do it and since I use it for viewing and organizing my photos, I don't have to jump from program to program.

Assignment #5

5-1 Lenses
When I first got my camera all I could think about was getting a bigger lens to shoot pictures of my son playing soccer. My little Nikon D3100 can only handle so much lens and my son is a senior so is my need for a longer lens is waning. I would now like to focus on the small. I would like a macro lens. Sitting with a small object and working to get the right angel and lighting is fun. I want to capture detail. The second lens I am interested in obtaining is a 35mm f/1.8 lens so I can take some more low light pictures.
